Tap the microphone button, add tags if you like, and tap Start recording. Tap Stop when you’re done. By default Koedori transcribes once you stop, and the note opens with the text. Tap any line to play the audio from there.

Yes. In Settings, set Transcribe to While recording. The other choice, After stopping, is the default.

Yes, as long as Background recording is on (Settings → Advanced). The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show the time, with Pause and Stop. With live text on, they also show the latest line; you can turn that display off with Show on Lock Screen (Live Activity) in the same place.

As long as your storage allows. Recordings longer than three hours are saved in parts automatically (Settings → Advanced → Auto-split long recordings), so nothing is lost.

Usually not. The next time you open Koedori it tells you it found an interrupted recording and offers to recover it, or to discard it.

Follow your school’s rules and ask the lecturer or speakers for permission. Rules about recording other people differ by place.

Yes. There is no minute limit and no monthly quota, whether or not you buy Remove ads. You can transcribe a note again as often as you like: in the note, tap ••• → Re-transcribe, and pick a language.

About ten, with the speech recognition built into iOS: Japanese, English, Chinese, Cantonese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Vietnamese is not among them. The list comes from iOS, so Settings → Recognition language always shows the current one. The app’s own screens are in Japanese, English and Vietnamese.

Fix a word once in a transcript and Koedori offers to add the correction to your Dictionary, so the same fix is applied to later notes. You can also add names and terms in the Dictionary tab.

No. Speaker identification isn’t available on the device, so Koedori works best for one main speaker, such as a lecture.

Yes, once for each language you record in. Transcription needs that language’s speech model, which iOS downloads from Apple. Open Settings → Recognition language and tap Download next to your language. When the download finishes, that language is in use.

Your recording is safe. It was made before the speech model for your recognition language was on your iPhone, so it is waiting for it. Download the language in Settings → Recognition language. The note is then transcribed the next time you open Koedori or come back to it, or right away if you tap ••• → Re-transcribe in the note.

No. iOS fetches the model from Apple; no audio, text or anything about your notes is sent. See the privacy policy.

Yes, once your language’s speech model is downloaded: recording, transcription, playback, editing and export all work offline. Try it in Airplane Mode. Offline, no ads are shown, and usage statistics wait until you are back online.

About 30 MB per hour at Standard quality and about 60 MB per hour at High (Settings → Advanced → Recording quality). To see the total: iPhone Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Lecture Recorder.

Inside Koedori on your iPhone; they don’t appear in the Files app. If you use iCloud Backup or back up to a computer, iOS includes them in that backup like other app data. Koedori itself never uploads them.

In the Notes tab, tap the import button (or ••• → Import) and choose Files or Photos & Videos. From a video, only the sound is kept. Once your language is downloaded, imported files are transcribed right away.

In Voice Memos, Files or another app, tap Share and choose Koedori. Koedori opens so you can confirm. If you see “Added. Open Koedori to transcribe it.”, just open Koedori — the file is waiting there.

In a note, use Copy, Share or Export. Export offers plain text, subtitles (SRT or WebVTT) and Markdown, to copy or save to Files, and Save audio saves the recording itself to Files. Export is free and unlimited.

• One note: open it, tap ••• → Delete note.
• Several: in the note list, ••• → Select, pick notes, tap Delete.
• Koedori asks before it deletes, and a deleted note cannot be brought back.
• Keep the text but not the audio: in the note, ••• → Delete audio, keep transcript.
• Everything: delete the Koedori app.

Deleting a note erases its recording from your iPhone at once, as Delete audio does. Backups made before then keep their copy.

Only after you finish something: leaving a note, a completed share, or Save to Files. A full-screen ad comes at most once every three of those and at least five minutes apart, never while you record, and nothing ever waits for an ad. Before the first one, a one-time sheet explains why there are ads.

Yes. In Settings, Ad-free for 24 hours plays one short video; after it, no full-screen ads appear for 24 hours.

Buy Remove ads in Settings. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and every ad stops. Nothing else is locked: transcription is free and unlimited either way.

In Settings, tap Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. Apple handles the purchase; Koedori never sees your payment details.

No. Ads never receive your audio, transcripts, titles or dictionary words. Ads are personalised only if you allow tracking when iOS asks; you can change that at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See the privacy policy.

Not your recordings or your text. Koedori has no account and no server, and recording and transcription never go online. The app goes online only to download a speech model, show ads and send usage statistics, and none of these ever carries your audio or your text. Read the privacy policy.

Settings → Advanced → Share usage statistics. Usage statistics tell us which features are used, in categories and rough counts, through Google Analytics for Firebase. They never include your audio, text, titles, file names or dictionary words.

Koedori needs iOS 26 or later. It transcribes with the speech recognition built into iOS 26, so it does not run on earlier versions.

はい。「バックグラウンド録音」（設定 → 詳細設定）がオンであれば続きます。ロック画面と Dynamic Island には経過時間と「一時停止」「停止」が表示されます。リアルタイム文字起こしがオンのときは直近の一文も表示されます。この表示は同じ場所の「ロック画面に表示」でオフにできます。

空き容量が許す限り録音できます。3 時間を超える録音は自動で分けて保存されるので（設定 → 詳細設定 → 長時間録音を自動で分割保存）、途切れることはありません。

多くの場合、消えていません。次に声どりを開くと「中断された録音があります」と表示され、「復元する」か「破棄する」かを選べます。

学校のルールに従い、先生や話す人の許可を得てください。人の声を録音することについての決まりは、場所によって異なります。

はい。時間の上限も、月ごとの上限もありません。「広告を削除」を購入してもしなくても同じです。何度でも文字起こしし直せます。ノートの中で ••• →「再文字起こし」をタップし、言語を選んでください。

iOS に組み込まれた音声認識で、約 10 の言語に対応しています。日本語、英語、中国語、広東語、韓国語、スペイン語、フランス語、ドイツ語、イタリア語、ポルトガル語です。ベトナム語には対応していません。対応する言語は iOS が決めるので、最新の一覧は 設定 →「認識する言語」でご確認ください。アプリの画面は日本語・英語・ベトナム語に対応しています。

文字起こしの中で一度言葉を直すと、その修正を「辞書」に登録するよう提案され、以降のノートにも同じ修正が反映されます。「辞書」タブから人名や用語を追加することもできます。

できません。話者の識別は端末内では使えないため、声どりは講義のように主に一人が話す録音に向いています。

はい。録音する言語ごとに一度だけ必要です。文字起こしにはその言語の音声認識モデルが必要で、iOS が Apple からダウンロードします。設定 →「認識する言語」を開き、使う言語の横の「ダウンロード」をタップしてください。ダウンロードが終わると、その言語が使われるようになります。

録音は保存されています。認識する言語の音声認識モデルが iPhone に入る前に録音したため、モデルを待っている状態です。設定 →「認識する言語」でその言語をダウンロードしてください。次に声どりを開いたとき、または声どりに戻ったときに文字起こしされます。すぐに文字起こししたいときは、ノートの中で ••• →「再文字起こし」をタップしてください。

いいえ。iOS が Apple からモデルを取得するだけで、音声やテキスト、ノートに関する情報は送りません。詳しくはプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。

はい。言語の音声認識モデルをダウンロードしたあとは、録音、文字起こし、再生、編集、書き出しのすべてがオフラインで使えます。機内モードで試してみてください。オフラインの間は広告は表示されず、利用状況データはオンラインに戻ってから送信されます。

録音品質が「標準」なら 1 時間あたり約 30 MB、「高音質」なら約 60 MB です（設定 → 詳細設定 → 録音品質）。合計は、iPhone の 設定 → 一般 → iPhone ストレージ → 声どり で確認できます。

iPhone の声どりの中にあり、「ファイル」アプリには表示されません。iCloud バックアップやパソコンへのバックアップを使っている場合は、ほかのアプリのデータと同じように iOS がそのバックアップに含めます。声どり自身がアップロードすることはありません。

「ノート」タブで読み込みのボタン（または ••• →「読み込み」）をタップし、「ファイル」か「写真とビデオ」を選びます。動画からは音声だけを保存します。言語のダウンロードが済んでいれば、読み込むとすぐに文字起こしが始まります。

ボイスメモ、「ファイル」などのアプリで共有をタップし、「Koedori」を選びます。声どりが開くので、内容を確認してください。「追加しました。Koedori を開くと文字起こしできます。」と表示されたら、声どりを開くだけで大丈夫です。ファイルはそこで待っています。

ノートの中で「コピー」「共有」「書き出し」を使います。書き出しでは、プレーンテキスト、字幕（SRT または WebVTT）、Markdown を選び、コピーするか「ファイル」に保存できます。「音声を保存」で、録音そのものを「ファイル」に保存することもできます。書き出しは無料・無制限です。

• 1 つ：ノートを開き、••• →「ノートを削除」。
• まとめて：ノート一覧で ••• →「選択」からノートを選び、「削除」。
• 削除する前に確認のメッセージが表示されます。削除したノートは元に戻せません。
• テキストは残して音声だけ削除：ノートの中で ••• →「音声を削除（文字起こしは残す）」。
• すべて：声どりのアプリを削除します。

ノートを削除すると、録音のファイルもすぐに iPhone から消去されます。「音声を削除」の場合も同じです。それより前に作られたバックアップには写しが残ります。

ノートを閉じたとき、共有を終えたとき、「ファイルに保存」をしたときなど、操作を終えたあとだけです。全画面の広告は多くてもこうした操作 3 回に 1 回、間隔は 5 分以上で、録音中に表示されることはなく、広告のために待たされることもありません。最初の広告の前に一度だけ、広告について説明する画面が表示されます。

はい。設定の「24時間 広告なし」で短い動画を 1 本見ると、その後 24 時間は全画面の広告が表示されません。

設定で「広告を削除」を購入してください。月額ではなく買い切りで、すべての広告が表示されなくなります。ほかに制限される機能はなく、文字起こしは購入してもしなくても無料・無制限です。

購入したときと同じ Apple アカウントでサインインして、設定の「購入を復元」をタップしてください。購入は Apple が処理し、声どりが支払いの情報を見ることはありません。

いいえ。音声、文字起こし、タイトル、辞書の単語が広告に渡ることはありません。広告がパーソナライズされるのは、iOS の確認画面でトラッキングを許可した場合だけです。iOS の 設定 → プライバシーとセキュリティ → トラッキング で、いつでも変更できます。詳しくはプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。

録音やテキストはアップロードされません。声どりにはアカウントもサーバーもなく、録音と文字起こしで通信することはありません。通信するのは、音声認識モデルのダウンロード、広告の表示、利用状況データの送信のときだけです。録音や文字起こしの内容が送られることはありません。プライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。

設定 → 詳細設定 →「利用状況データを共有」をオフにしてください。利用状況データは、どの機能が使われているかを、カテゴリーとおおよその回数で Google Analytics for Firebase に送るものです。音声、テキスト、タイトル、ファイル名、辞書の単語が含まれることはありません。

iOS 26 以降が必要です。声どりは iOS 26 に組み込まれた音声認識で文字起こしするため、それより前の iOS では動作しません。
